①REDUCE
The best way to deal with unsustainable practices and products is to reduce your consumption.
You can ponder if products are needed in your life, and spend a few weeks without them.
Then, if you don’t feel uncomfortable, you don’t need them.
In modern times, we have a lot of external stimulation that makes us eager to buy unnecessary things.
We have much of that stimulation such as media, commercials, and cultural & social pressure.
They are trying to get our attention to spend money.
Are they make us happy?
It depends.
I don’t think that all products are unnecessary; but, we are in a time of mass production, mass consumption, and mass waste.
Human beings are the destroyer of Mother Earth and fellow living beings including human fellows.
We need to ponder our consumption habits.
We can practice compassion, empathy, and love through our choices of what to buy.
As a first step, REDUCE is the best way to cut off unnecessaries and the best action to reduce the commitment to unethical activities.
Moreover, we can save money and utilize it for better purposes.
②DONATE & SELL, NOT THROW AWAY
ONE PERSON’S TRASH IS ANOTHER’S TREASURE!
When you look at your room and house, you will find many things that you don’t use and don’t need anymore.
I’d love to recommend giving it to someone who needs it, simply donate to a charitable organization, or sell it to second-hand stores.
In this way, you can reduce the unnecessary waste and someone may find these goods useful, which promotes the second life for products and reuse culture.
③BUY SECOND HAND GOODS
When you need something after you ponder and figure out that is necessary, you can go for second-hand products.
We already have tens of thousands of clothes and products on this planet.
You may think that buying sustainable clothes is the best option to promote sustainability.
However, the most sustainable living is to buy things that are already here to serve us.
Second-hand products do not own production costs when we buy since these have already gone.
In this way, we can minimize the environmental costs.
Once again, you don’t force yourself to buy second-hand if you aren’t willing to since it is not sustainable for your mind.
The most important thing is to do your best within your capacity in long term.
④GO FOR REUSABLE PRODUCTS
By using reusable goods, we can minimize the environmental costs of disposable products (plastics).
Plastics have been a disastrous issue since it creates suffering and death of animals, pollution of nature, and health issues to human beings.
Reusable natural goods are the best way to stop environmental degradation and cause the suffering of living beings.

6. ORGANIC COTTON NAPKIN
After using organic cotton napkins, it relieves period pains since there are no toxins that are often found in disposable napkins.
It’s said that those who have periods spend an average of $144 on sanitary products annually.
When it comes to lifetime periods, the cost of disposable sanitary products will be about $20,000. (calculated with average 33 years of monthly periods)
If you switch to reusable sanitary products, you can commit to environmental protection and save money! (win-win)

⑤GO FOR CRUELTY FREE (VEGAN)
Cruelty-free is label for products or activities that do not harm or kill animals anywhere in the world. Products tested on animals or made from animals are not considered cruelty-free, since these tests are often painful and cause the suffering and death of millions of animals every year
Wikipedia
I go cruelty-free for compassionate reasons to coexist with fellow living beings.
⑥GO FOR BIODEGRADABLE PRODUCTS
Trash issues are one of the biggest issues on Earth.
Micro-plastics, overwhelming amount of trash, plastic pollution and more.

We already have alternatives at our hands.
